Succession planning

Our services begin with a separately purchased property assessment, precision basemap and design consultation. The Landscape Design & Master Plan stage brings three preliminary concepts, a concept consultation, the final layout, planting and phased priorities together. Succession planning considers how the garden develops over time. After a year of observing your property through the seasons, we revisit and refine the design with you. Use the plan yourself or share it with local contractors for installation quotes.

“A beautiful yard is only the beginning. The best landscapes also make sense for the homeowner, the site and the living world around them.”
Regenerative underneathHealthier soil, intelligent water use, biodiversity and useful planting are built into the design.
Personal on the surfaceThe finished property reflects your taste and lifestyle without imposing a particular permaculture style.
Independent implementationUse your preferred local contractors or complete the work gradually on your own terms.

Work with us · Local Garden Specialist

Good gardens start with curious people.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys plants, understands their local landscape and feels comfortable chatting with homeowners.

This is paid project-based work involving local outreach, garden walk-throughs and gathering useful information for our remote design team. You’ll help us understand the property, the people who live there and what could work well in their garden.
